Bev, check Kwik-Sew (www.kwiksew.com, I believe). They have a pattern for a men's wetsuit-type thing. I think it's intended for swimsuit fabric, rather than neoprene, but it might work for your purposes. They also have similar patterns for children, in case you're trying to protect some little ones from the sun. I don't recall seeing anything for women, alas.
*I have made the Kwiksew pattern as a wetsuit but I used a product made by Malden Mills instead of neoprene. I believe it used to be called Polartec 2000, but I recall seeing that the name has been changed. Anyway, the pattern is intended for nylon/lycra so you will need to size up atleast one size to compensate for the difference in stretch. Good luck!
*LInda, was it that polartec thermal stuff? I think that's the new fabric that can retain body heat in the water. And did you use the adult or child's pattern? I would love a shortie wetsuit for snorkeling because no matter how warm the air or water, I get cold really fast.
*Can anyone help me? I have a 10 year old daughter who is a size 15/16 and i find it hard to get patterns that fit and also to suit her age group. Does anyone have any suggestions?, or maybe even some adult patterns that are not too old. By the way I'm from Australia
