I really miss Robbie Fanning’s Creative Machine newsletter. It was especially hepful to be able to ask very specific questions of the various machine companies experts. Is there any possibility that Threads could take over that function? That’s a column I’d love to see.

I agree. I miss the magazine and that was a very good column.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't know if we can do exactly that, but we can look into providing similar information. Meanwhile, are you aware of the Creative Machine Newletter discussion forum? You can log on by going to the THreads homepage, scrolling down, and in the same place where Gatherings is mentioned, you'll find a link to Creative Machine as well. It's a lively board.

I fondly remember David Coffin's sewing machine reviews. I love his style of writing, sense of humor. I like to see machine reviews - machines which are NOT only the high-end, oh-my-goodness-that's-a-financial-train-wreck-if-I-purchase-it machine. I also enjoy reading Tools of the Trade.
