1812 French Officer’s Pelisse

My client requested many changes to this after this picture was taken.  The final result was not worth taking pictures of.

It is based on an original pattern and is accurate for the period.  The shell is melton wool and the lining is wool serge.  The lacing is machine and hand stitched in place.

    Hello,
My goodness, your client must have been out of their minds. This is a remarkable jacket. I'd own it just to have it to look at.
Next time don't allow a client to mutilate such fine creations. Pure art.Bravo!

I agree with Designer9er! Especially that this was your own design, I would have limited the changes to only fitting issues and made it clear you wouldn't change the integrity of your design. It is very sad that your beautiful work was subjected to such (apparent) displeasure. What you show in the picture is absolutely gorgeous!
