I ironed fusable web on to the back of the dark brown felt. I found an image of a tiki cup online and sketched it out on paper. I cut out the areas that would allow the lighter color of felt to show through. I placed that on top of the dark brown felt and used chalk to trace around the cutouts. I then fused the dark brown felt to the light brown felt. I made a seam up the back and then placed a circle of cardboard inside the felt about 2 inches from the top. I clipped the edges and then glued them to the cardboard. I cut out a place for my head to slip through and holes for the parasol and straw (made from a wrapping paper tube). To cover up the cardboard I used celophane wrapping paper bunched up to give it the look of a shiny fluid.
