Antique Sewing Machine – Minnesota A

We recently bought this machine at an antique store.  Serial number is 6407-00. It’s a Minnesota Model A.   Does anyone know how old this could be?

A good place to start: http://www.ismacs.net It is a site dedicated to antique sewing machines. I do know the Minnesota Model were one of those machine branded by one retailer (think Sear or Wards) for mail order but was made by several manufacturers over the years. They have a partial list on the site. Good luck and I hope you have as much fun with yours as I've had with my treadles over the years!
