My nephew Ethan is 4 yrs old and wanted ro originally be the joker for halloween this year. However, i showed him a youtube vidoe of a kid wearing an optimus prime costume that transforms. He immediately loved it and asked me to make it. Im crafty and enjoy doing diy’s. Its my nieces 5th yr wearing costumes i make her. I basically used 2 cardboard boxes, glued them together, cut pieces out, and painted it. Added some lights as well. Paint is the small sample paint from home depot. And lots and lots of glue using the glue gun. I made sure i got his measurements. Alot of trying it on for my nephew before it was done. 2 weeks working on it about 2-3 hours in the evening. Not sure what i spent.
