I am looking for 90″ wide fabric suitable for use as tablecloths. Machine washable a “must”. Don’t want to spend a fortune, will need probably 25 yards. Anyone have any hints on where to look? TIA!

Nancy's Notions used to carry a nice range of colors.

*I used to see WIDE fabrics in the Home Dec department of a large fabric chain (am thinking about Fabricland, which is now Jo-Anns in my area).AND I have mailordered from a company in California that looms its cotton fabric 10 feet wide (I saw their ad in the back of a Threads Magazine). I have made drapes, roman shades, a table cloth AND from the leftovers I made a set of placemats and napkins for my mother. Unfortunately, I don't know if their prices are a "bargain", ($6.50/yard for 90" quilting cotton, $20 to $25/yard for heavier homespun cottons to $45 to $68/yard for damask cotton), though they do occasionally have sales (my curtain fabric had a weaving error in it, but I could cut that part off, so I got it for 20% less than normal). They have an on-line presense at: http://www.homespunfabrics.com, and I would definitely recommend you order their sample package (it is $2.00).
*Those sound like bargains. When I was looking for wide fabrics, the only ones I could find fast were 100% linen (not good for wrinkling in churches), made in Italy, and over $100/yard.
