Hello,
I am struggling so much with the Ayora Jacket by Pauline Alice patterns, but I can’t find any help online and everyone seems to love the pattern! I’m on my third muslin🙄 Now, just as I thought I had resolved fit issues, I’ve found that there seems to be absolutely no way to match the band to the jacket. Anybody have any experience with this pattern? Thank you!

I have the pattern, but, not used yet. Did you send an email to Pauline Alice for advice? Most indie pattern makers are very generous about helping you out. I recommend an email if they have an address.

As I recall, the instructions for attaching the band are confusing. The band absolutely fits the jacket, as long as you sew the short side to the jacket. Then, when sewing the facing to the jacket, sew the long sides together, turn, press, and then sew the short side to the inside of the jacket by hand. I hope this helps!
