Buying Embroidery Machine

Diamantina | Posted in Machine Embroidery on

I presently have a Baby Lock Esante ESe and an Imager. I would like to buy the type of equipment that would allow me to copy designs from my computer & onto my Esante.

I know Brother makes Baby Lock & I’m wondering what equipment is available and compatible with my machine. I’m told I need a Palette, but I’m also told it is somewhat limited & does not give me the versatility in copying computer designs as other machines.

Does anyone have any words of advice? I already made a mistake in buying the Imager. THAT was supposed to scan designs from the computer. I don’t want to make the same mistake twice.
Thanks.

Tina

tina: pc designer (brother) pallette (babylock) & wizard(bernina) are all made by brother and these are the units you need to transfer designs to your embroidery card for your machine whether the design source is from your computer or a scanner. all of these units are interchangable. prices differ & design size capability differs (pcd does both 4x4 and 5x7; wizard does only 4x4 and i'm not sureabout the sizes on pallette). without this unit you are limited to use of purchased emb.cards. don't discount looking at internet/mail order sources as their prices are MUCH lower then most dealers.

*b PE Design for the Brother machines is very versatile, especially the ver 4 fairly new out.b Items can be scanned in to the computer as btmap or photos, clipart, etc.b Its fairly easy to get used to, the results are brilliant. Would'nt be without mine.
