I've seen it referred to as "clear elastic". Hope this helps.
The clear elastic is sometimes called swimsuit or chlorine resistant elastic, or sportswear elastic. Sometimes it is also called sew through elastic. Cathy
thank you...do you know where i can order some??
check out Nancy's Notions, Clotilde, or Atlantic Thread Supply...
Meg has good suggestions. I do not order online myself. It is a basic elastic that can be found with the elastics in a fabric shop, although it sometimes hides amongst the laces. Cathy
Hancock Fabrics carries it, but it's among the elastics that have to be cut by the yard, or fractions of yards, not in the pre-cut packaged stuff.
thank you, everyone! i tried joann's and they didn't have it. i'm trying not to order it online because i can't justify the shipping cost but i guess i might have to...
Have you tried Wallmart? This clear elastic is pretty much a basic one and even the smaller fabric stores should have it.
thank you starzoe...i will try walmart tomorrow!
