Entry Level Stand Alone?

misscransto1 | Posted in Machine Embroidery on

Hello.

I would like to purchase a relatively inexpensive stand-alone embroidery machine, mainly for lettering but also to see if this is something I would enjoy. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks!

Miss C.

Hi, again! I answered your question in another post, but just wanted to mention that if you like monogramming, you should take a look at http://www.embroideryarts.com. Lots of gorgeous letters for monogramming, available by the individual letter, or by the complete alphabet. Enjoy!

      Carol:

That site is amazing, and inspires me to re-double my efforts to find an embroidery machine. Your other info was helpful too--now I know I don't need a huge hoop to do what I want to do. Thanks very much. Coco.

Coco, Richards Jarden, who owns embroideryarts.com and creates and digitizes all the alphabets, is a a real artist in the realm of machine-embroidered monograms. If you sign up for his newsletter, you'll be able to download a free trial letter occasionally, which is a great way to sample his extremely deft approach to digitizing.
