A friend and I have been going to Hialeah for great fabric stores that we don’t have where we live farther north. Yesterday our trip revealed some stores have closed (or moved?). Does anyone have any suggestions for good fabric shopping in South Florida? We’re looking for good outlets, worth the drive.

By the way, since I noticed this was posted under fabric and trims. There is an unbelievable store in Hialeah that sells only trims, zippers, elastic, a few buttons and discontinued patterns for unbelievable prices. Lace trims start at 10 cents a yard. Though I’m not in the market, they have gorgeous trims for wedding gowns and such. Don’t know those prices, but expect comparable. They sell regular quality elastic for 1/2 price of most fabric stores.
