   The Mill End; Fabric Depot; Pendelton Store; Bolt & list of others.

   Thank you!  Has anyone been to Josephine's Dry Goods or The Button Emporium?  My husband and I are taking a road trip...we'll be in Portland for two days before heading up to Seattle.  The two stores are near to each other and downtown.

   Yes, I have been there.  Josephines' is a great independent fabric store with some great choices of high end fabrics and the button emporium is also a great place to visit.  Enjoy!!

   I am so excited!  Thank you for confirming my choices.  Do you know of one GREAT fabric store in Seattle?  Or a web site that offers unique oriental fabric?

   I haven't been to either in a long while, but you could look up the following:

   NANCY'S SEWING BASKET is in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. Lovely higher-end garment fabrics. I bought a couple of wonderful silk and wool lengths from them last year at the Sew Expo in Puyallup, WA.

   THINGS JAPANESE in Kirkland, WA is over the bridge in a city that is a suburb of Seattle. I've also seen them at Sew Expo. Wonderful selection!

   Thank you all!  My husband asked me last night which sewing machine I was going to take on our trip.  He joked that he didn't think he could handle sewing DTs!
