Is there a bobbin-less machine?

Lynsta | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

I don’t sew much. I usually use the machine for mending. I never have the right color of thread in my bobbin collection. I remember hearing about machine that does not require bobbins back when I was in high school. I can’t find one now that I can afford to buy myself one. Do they exist, or am I just remembering a dream that I had?

I've never heard of such a machine. Bobbins are cheap and easy to find and easy enough to fill. Maybe you need a little instruction or practice to get the knack of preparing them.

Elna Xquisite makes a machine that has a spool underneath just like the top spool.

    I have never tried  it.
