Help, I’m looking for a wholesale source of 1 inch dotted/lettered pattern paper(NOT the nonwoven stuff) for pattern drafting. Please email me at [email protected] with any leads.
Thanks,
Sharon

Sharon, at one time, SouthStar Supply (PO Box 90147, Nashville, TN 37209;615-353-7000; 800-288-6739) sold a wide variety of pattern-making papers in large and smaller quantities. That's the first place I'd look....
*Sharon,I make patterns all the time. I do not need the dotted paper because I have a white 1" grided cutting mat [48" X 96"], and I use DOCTOR PAPER for my pattern paper. I am very pleased with the doctor table paper because I can see clearly through it to do my drafting. I can also lay it on top of an original pattern and trace the lines through it.Doctor paper is the table paper that you sit on when you go to the clinic. It comes on a roll 21" wide and 225' long, [about 3 1/2" diameter roll] and is quite cheap. I was paying $4.75 per roll, but now I use so much that I buy it by the case at $48. per 12 roll case. I get my paper directly from the my medical clinic, I just ask for it at the front desk. Table paper comes with either a smooth finish or a soft, fuzzy finish, you will only want the smooth finish for patterns. I use scotch tape to splice on more paper where my pattern needs to be wider than the paper, and I use marker pins designed for over-head projectors to write onto my patterns.
