Purrrr-fect.
Reminds me of the story of the princess and the pea with all the mattresses. Kitty looks very cozy and regal. Mary
Too funny....first I have to say that your kitty is just too cute!! Then I have to say she guards your stash well!!
Then I have to admit that my daughters kitty...well I have caught her many of times finding places to sleep in my sewing room and it has been quite the sight!!
Thanks for sharing
Really cute - thanks for sharing! Do you have to clean the cat hairs off before you sew, though? :) - or is the item from both of you? :)
Gloria
I have two cats; they won't sleep on a towel with a hole in it, but just let them reach a customer's fabric and it's cat hair city. I clean up everything after I'm finished. I always tell my customers there's no extra charge for the cat hair! God bless you Galey
This is the cat who helps me to sew. She likes to lay across my left arm while I am sewing. The other one"helps" by laying on top of my patterns and/or fabric while I am trying to cut it out. Whenever I go to a sewing class I tell people it feels strange without my cats, they have become part of my sewing kit!
My now departed to kitty heaven cat used to like to lie on the pattern when it is being cut out. She particularly like to pull out the pins by her teeth and had to be severely monitored. I have a lovely photo of her on the dining room table removing the "Happy Holiday" plastic stick from the flower arrangement.
Isn't that always the way of cats? There must be something about the smell of certain fabrics that attracts them, eh? It could also not make a difference at all - maybe they just like the sounds of the sewing room. Have you tried putting the holey towel on top of your fabrics in the sewing room & see what the cat does? Very interesting!

Your kitty is stabilizing that selection of fabrics for you. Otherwise, the stack may just fall over, don't you know.
One of our cats is a great 'help'. He prefers to help select just the right glass-head pin from the pin cushion and throw it on the floor. Those are the bad pins and he's helping me avoid them....
That's funny! Who knew cats had such sewing insight!
