Lingerie Material

hannahbeth | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

I am looking for a place on line to purchase good lingerie material to make gown, slips and panties. I have a customer that wants to gowns which I will make the pattern from a Quik Sew book. I have some material on hand but she wants something better than what I have.

Although I heve yet to order from the following site, it is know to me for what it offers.  There's an e-mail hyperlink at page bottom if you have questions.  Perhaps you could inquire as to samples of fabric.  The cost might be worth it because, having these, your clients to choose.

Thank you so much, I went and looked at the sight and was thrilled and will have my friend go so she can tell me what colors she would like. I used to purchase from Logans Kits in Alabama but tried to email them and no longer have the email address. I love to make my own lingerie also and have made panties, slips etc for my grandchildren. I have been making lingerie for about 20 years and love doing it. I have a small business in sewing of all kinds but since I am 75 don't make bridesmaid dresses and such as like making clothes for small children in our church from fabric that has been given to me.

Wonderful that sewsassy was of value to you.  It was kind of you to post your satisfaction so other members can decide if the site is useful to them.

Yes, being able to make specific wearables can be very gratifying.

Might the following be the Logan's you're unable to e-mail?  The USPS address is AL.  Perhaps there was a change in the platform of the company.   There's a hyper link on the left at page end.

I tried it and it didn't work but I might try again as I have done business with Evelyn for many years and she always had such good prices and the material such as the sweatshirt fleece never piled and wears forever.  Thanks again

Thank you I went in and typed a message to Evelyn and received an answer this morning.

I appreciate all the help that I have received from this site and glad and thankful for it.

I tried but for some reason it didn't go through but it could have been because of the storms in that area.  I have been purchasing from them for about 20 years and like their products as some of the best.

            Again thank you very much.

I hardly am proficient in computer use, but a thought on why your mail failed to go through before you typed the e-address.

Sometimes, if an address is absent from your address book, the whatever in the system rejects the message.

What matters is, you were eventually successful.  Another PC doing that a user needs to remember is to try another approach as you did.

Your posting introduced members to another on-line source.  Always a +.

I tried for about an hour from her website and kept getting an email that wasn't any good but tried today and it went right through. Who understands computers?I will go to the site there and also the sewsassy site as I want to see what both have to offer.Thank you again for your time in helping me.
