I have been searching for fabric that would be suitable for Western Show Vests. I have seen some vests made of beautiful Metallic Brocade – any suggestions as to where I would find a good fabric for these “showy” vests? Thanks, Cheryl

Try Britex By Mail they are in San Francisco and with a $5.00 swatch service they are unbeatable their number is (415) 392-2910. I understand that they recently moved to a temporary location a couple of blocks away so that their building could be retrofitted to withstand earthquakes. Other wise I would suggest an internet search.
I got some very nice rayon/tinsel brocade from http://www.thaisilks.com last fall. They have a great selection silk and rayon/tinsel brocades. I have ordered from them several times and the service is pleasant and fast.
