Hi all

I am new to this forum

I live in Country NSW in Australia

I love sewing my own clothes but also needed to as there is not great variety in larger sizes

looking forward to getting to know you  and most of all when I have a sewing problem you may be able to help me with

I have a 5-6year old Pfaff tiptronic 20-20

not fancy but good solid machine

its only problem is button holes

I can become very frustrated with them so any help would be gratefully accepted

Kindest Regards

Anne

    Good morning Teena Anne

I too live in Australia- Northern Beaches Sydney. I have been here on these discussions for a few months now and I think it is terrific. You will have a fantastic time also.

There are plenty of articles to read, photos to see, lots to learn from great ladies from all over the world.

Thank you for filling in your profile..You share my son's b'day. To see a picture of him (five this year), scroll down to the Photo Gallery Discussion, Title Bean Bags Date Feb 16. it is post number 3. You may need to right click on the jpg. It will open up in a new window, it will look smaller when it downloads fully.

    Have fun looking around!

Hi Anne,Welcome to the best seamstresses and friends in the world. Also, I have to say the best magazine in the world, Threads. I hope you have a sense of humor. These ladies are so funny to talk with and very knowledgeable. I used to have a Collie when I was a little girl. She protected me and let me pretend she was my student in play school. Those were fun times.Marcy

    Hi Anne,

this is the third go I've had at this E mail, they just disappeared with out a trace.

Just wondering if you've had the opportunity to check out http://www.perpetualpatterns.com.au they are American patterns by a multitude of designers, they cater to the larger sized ladies moi included. I have several patterns, there were a lot I did not like and could'nt imagine anyone crazy enough to wear them, then Australian Stitches Magazine started to preview some of these patterns so I've had a change of heart and I reckon I'm crazy enough to wear them. Take a look, "just think out side the box." Another site I like is http://www.sewnet.com/CJPatterns one I checked last night http://www.fashionpatterns.com/index.html at any rate it's fun to look, I hope you enjoy.
