 On occasion, I have forgotten what the composition of my fabric  is when I delay using it. Wouldn’t it be great if fabric mills would print the type of fabric and the care on the selvedges of the yardage.

    I pin a note along with the width and yardage to the fabric.

    I also pin a scrap to the pattern envelope after making up the garment so I know which one I used should I decide to duplicate the garment (mostly tops and bottoms).
