    Johnnie,

don't we all! What is the problem? what kind of pattern are you using? I would definitely recommend using burda pants patterns to start with. Add 3/4" to the back crotch length only for most people. Start with elastic waists first. the nice thing about most burda elastic waists is that they are not huge and clowny as I find many of the American big four versions to be.

You must take very accurate and honest measurements and cut pants by hip size. You might want to take your hip measurements over and over for several days, or have someone else help you with that. It is easy to maek a mistake measuring. See what measurements keep coming back!

Also, you should get some books on pants fitting or fitting in general. There is so much to pants fitting!

    good luck!
