I am new to Gatherings, but what I have seen is great. I have been sewing for a long time, there were many times I could have used something like Gatherings.
My problem is, I have a sister that is Down Syndrome. I often have trouble altering patterns for her. She is about 4’8″ tall, stocky, and has a thick neck. Does any one know of a company that features patterns for persons with Down Syndrome or can offer ideas that can make alterations easier?

This is one of those cases where, I think, pattern software really shines. I think that would be your very best bet in this case.

Thanks Shannon for your suggestion. I have not tried any pattern software yet. This is something I can look into.
