purse frame

sewnew | Posted in General Discussion on

how would you use a purse frame that had no sew holes? It has a slot for fabric (I’m assuming here) and my guess is you somehow clamp it but i don’t want to ruin the frame trying.

any suggestions?

thanks

Yes I think you are right about doing the clamping with the purse frame.  Although I bet you could also use a bit of tacky type glue to secure the fabric in as well. If when you are ready to finish the project you decide to clamp the fabric in the frame I would pad a surface very well and use a small hammer on the inside of the frame to push it together.

    Good luck.
