   Hello dayenu.

   I wrote the shrug article and would like to help you figure out where the difference occured in sizing.  I just rechecked the numbers and they work.  I am a pattern size 10 for tops and on me the sleeves on the Batwing shrug end 5" above my wrist bone and at center back it ends just below my waist.  The other shrugs end slightly below the hips.  Several factors could cause your shrug to be larger.  First, check to see if the rectangle was cut to size. Perhaps the fabric used stretched as you sewed it.   When cutting a 30"x50" rectangle, the finished measurents on the Batwing shrug should measure around 12" width at sleeve hem, 60" circumference of body opening.  Let me know if I can be of additional help. - Anna Mazur, Threads contributing editor

   Thank you for those instructions - I've printed those out, too.  It's the 'Two Minute Instant Shrug' that I can't seem to print out.  I thought that was the subject of this post.  So sorry!

   I would LOVE to make this but can't get the PDF to come up.  Does anyone have a work around.  Need it for Nov.3, 2007 party.
