SewingWorld??

mygaley | Posted in Gather For A Chat on

Dear Sewing Friends,  Can anyone tell me why I can’t log onto the SewingWorld site?  I seem to be registered because my name(s) come up automatically when I’m trying to register.  If I could hook up with a human being this might become one of my secondary sites.

I have learned so much from this forum, I think you all know everything.  Thanks a lot, Galey

In the upper right corner for this page

are links for "my profile" and "faq". You might find your answers there.

Dear Diane,  Thanks for your help and encouragement.  I finally was successful!  It seems my problem was I had previously been registered under my former email address; I had to choose a new name and password to override this.  I understand there is a better way to do this but as my grandson says "She's seriously electronically challenged"!  Thank you and God bless you as you sew.  Galey

Hi diday,I tried the link for SewingWorld and got the 404 - File not found. Nothing in the upper right corner. Are they really gone?

It's not a site I have frequented but others in Post 5449.1 to 5449.3 have some comments. Is this site related?http://sewingworld.com.au./

Thanks,That site seems to be for two stores, however, and not a website for sewing comments. I have however found a site that seems to replicate the old sewingworld commons:http://artisanssquare.com/sg/index.phpIt's called The Stitcher's Guild when you get to the website. Thanks again. It took a lot of looking and clicking on links from other sewers out the to find it. I hope more will get there to contribute. A vibrant, active community of sewers creates a place where we can share our expertise, our trials, both successful and not-so-successful so we can all enjoy our sewing more and more and pass it on to the next generation.Carla
