I’m wondering if any of you know a source for the threads used in sewing jeans and other denim clothing. I’m trying to alter jeans and sew a denim skirt, and I want it to look authentic.

Regular sewing thread for seams and Gutterman makes top stitching threads in jeans colors. But, they are on small spools. If you want larger quantity try Atlanta thread. Google them. I think that they have a website, if not look in the back of threads, I think that they advertise.
