Trying photo gallery

ElenaYDesigns | Posted in Photo Gallery on

I’m not sure how to use Photo Gallery. Is it mainly to used to show your projects to other members or to use as an illustration along with a discussion? I’d like to send some samples of my work. Is it possible to send several attachments in one message? I tried, either it doesn’t work or I don’t know what I’m doing. (The latter is quite possible)

    Ellenatstitchart:

What incredibly beautiful purses.  I am not the one to give you technical advice on how to make the size correct as the pictures posted a bit big.  I just reduced my computer image to 34% to view them.  There are lots of wise folks on this Threads Gathering who can tell you what you need to do next time.

I absolutely love them and hope you keep on posting.  What is the fabric in the second brown one and its clasp?  Thanks so much for the inspiration in these pictures.

HiThanks for the complement. I just tried something that I think may reduce the image size of my attachments. Will try again. I have many more pics of bags, as well as jackets, but don't want to inundate the Photo Gallery all at once.
The fabric in the second bag is home decorating fabric, I'm not sure what the fiber content is.
Most all my bags are made from home dec fabrics.
The clasp is not really a clasp, just an adornment made from a laminated wood pendant that I picked up at a bead show.
I will post another message in Photo Gallery to see if the images are smaller. I'm pretty new as far as being an active member of Gatherings.

Glad to have you with us and glad to see your wonderful work.  It connects us all to each one and the other in the world of crafting and sewing.

I've never learned so much in such a small space in time.  I appreciate all of the ladies and men on this site.  Wonderful people.

Wow!  Your bags are incredible.  Nice job!

I don't really know how to size photos but if you right click on them and choose to either open in another window or another tab they open up to the best viewing size.

Thank you for sharing your work!

Dear Lady, those hand bags are beautiful beyond belief.  You did that at home?  You have more than skills.  Both are my style and I love them.

One little request, make your pictures a little smaller so we don't have to scroll around to see the purse.  I actually copied the picture to wordperfect and did a picture format size change in order to see the bag in its full glory.

Just awesome.  I love that buckle on the second one.  I love them.  You are probably expensive too.  Bags prices are so high these days, its unbelievable, but do what you do and get what you want, I'm not mad.  Just can't afford them.  AWESOME!!!

Your work is fabulous. However I was only able to see the two in the other post posted by maddog.

Do you have any software to resize your photos? If not there is a post on here telling you how. I will see if I can find it.

Here is the link to resize your photos if you need it. http://forums.taunton.com/n/main.asp?qu=resize&find=Search&webtag=tp-gatherings&ctx=search&cl=632361&af=10000&o=relevance&be=0You can make them smaller but as I said, 600x800 works fine for my dialup. solo

Love your purses, I just saw them on the resized thread, I like the way you combine fabrics too.  Mary
