Loved the last Issue of Threads! In the article on making embellished buttonholes-there is a photo showing an accordian-like device to space the buttonholes evenly. I’ve never seen anything like that! It is extremely cool and I want it! What is it and where can I purchase one? Thanks!

It's a buttonhole spacer. You might be able to get one at JoAnn or Hancock's or try someplace like Atlanta Sewing Supply or Clothilde.
Thank you very much. I love cool tools and this will be a great addition. For accuracy this device will be hard to beat. I know it's not at my local JoAnn's (unfortunately the only fabric store near me-poorly stocked and terrible service) but will look on-line.
I got my Sim-Flex Expanding Guage many years ago from Nancy's Notions. They still have it in their catalog -- item SG2 $14.98 -- see nancysnotions.com.
I got my Simflex with my 50% off coupon years ago when JoAnns was an actual fabric store and carried interesting tools and notions . I have even used it to help divide a sheet cake into even pieces and my husband has borrowed it for his wood projects. It has become a real favorite..
