What to do with Curtains

verdantlux | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

I just recently purchased some outdoor curtains, but after putting them up, I realized that they look a little bit drab on their own. What would be the best way to make the curtains pop out? I was thinking about embroidering them or adding extra decor along the pole so it doesn’t look so plain. Does anyone have any tips or advice? Thanks in advance

For reference, here’s what the curtains look like. They’re made from polyester and are a solid white color:

any specific theme for your area?

you could add ties to the curtain.  you could add sprigs of herbal plants.

You could add a different fabric somewhere - such as cut off the bottoms and add a foot or so of another color.  You could also add some braid trim near the top or bottom.

    more to do with curtains

if the curtain lies relatively flat, you could add another "window" to the curtain, something like a panel on a tent.
