Are you talking about the patterns or actually the software itself.

    Pattern Master

I have not used the patterns but I do have the software "Child's Play"

There is another thread that chats about Wild Ginger that I had posted my thoughts too.

But as far as the patterns they have out I am sorry I am not much help to you

SORRY I'M TALKING ABOUT THE SOFTWARE . I WHOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ITS EASY TO USE FOR MORE THAN ONE PERSON.

ACTUALLY YOU ARE SHOUTING WHEN YOU USE ALL CAPITALS.But yes, Wild Ginger is very easy to use for multiple people

No worries,Did you find that other thread I can't seem to remember which one it was that I posted my response on my program!! I am so sorry, But yes I agree with Heartsafire that you can have lots of people in your data!! They will be in your system till you delete them and you just can measure and measure away!! Then of course make your slopers for each to make sure you measured correctly. Then the skies the limit!! The program will even flag you if it thinks your way off on the measuring. And if your not clicking then Wild Ginger really has a great support system (them)they will trouble shoot with you!!
I am hoping this is somewhat helping you and answering a bit of your questionBlondie

Wonderful!! Let me know what you think...like I said I just wanted to start simple to get use to it so that is why I chose Child's Play plus of my two girls...I am excited to hear more if you choose to get thatBlondie

The other thing about Wild Ginger ( I have both pattern master botique and celebrations) you will not get a perfect fit. You still have to do muslins and tweek some of the fitting in the muslin. The program will get you very close, but not perfect. I have also found that they all draft up with a front waist length that is about 1 inch too short, and I know other people have this same problem.

great to know thanks...I know I think didn't you post that on the other thread that was having this similar conversaion on..I don't know I think with really any drafting program and such you will always have to tweak..don't you think!Blondie

Pattermaster boutique is easy to use for more than 1 person - but as someone else has said(somewhere?)the patterns are not always accurate so you have to make a toille and check.
You can customise the patterns set into the program, but I would not say that this was easy if you have no prior knowledge of pattern drafting, but with time and patience they do work.
I use this at school but it is not easy for kids to understand unless they have some inbuilt sense of how pattern pieces go together. If u use patterns for garment making and considered yourself quite good I think in time Boutique could be useful to you.
You can buy discs "out of the package" - say for example a set of skirts etc. however be warned - you cannot save what u do on screen- so u have to complete your pattern in 1 sitting - a real pain in the a... for me at school when we usually only have 1hour lessons!
It is however another string to your bow if u want to access CAD/CAM ( which is 1 of the targets in my exam curriculum)
        Clear as mud?

It is very hard to read your post when it is in all caps, and no punctuation.

      Hello autumn,

Dionna has already been made aware of her texting in Capitals and she has apologised for doing so and has not used capitals since.

Many members are aware of the Discussion Titled : Text in all Capitals.

Individual comments are not required throughout.

      Thankyou, Regards, CherryPops
