I had the inspiration to design this dress from my grandmother wedding gown

your wdding gown is awesome, I love ventage wear.
felicidades por todo tu trabajo es hermoso
very pretty wedding gown
I wish you gave a full description, fabric, explicit design etc, for us to really get into your work. Just showing us a photo just dosnt cut it for those who really want to ENJOY your labour of love.
Things like...where you found this remarkable fabric, was it pieces that was left over from another job where you thought it would just not do then miraculously it did! and every body was asking about the insets, which just happen to be a gift from you husbands army buddys wife 12 years ago....
I mean really give me something to read and enjoy instead of waste my time looking at a photo. I see so many photos in a day I want something exciting, after all you spent hours on this garment. GIVE IT AND YOU WHATS DUE. Sorry if I am too honest but people are too politically correct now a days. Seeme as if anything is now acceptable, exceptional work (verbage and otherwise)is almost a thing of the past.
I'm not a writer I am a designer. I'm sorry I can't please you...
Beautiful gown, MCarolina!--totally exquisite! I especially love that you interpreted it from your grandmother's wedding gown!
Sure, it would be wonderful to hear the whole detailed story of how it came to be, step by step...but this is not the venue for that. I *am* both a writer and a designer, and I recognize when a demand is less encouragement and more abuse. Thanks for your cool, calm response and the courage to maintain your boundaries.
I agree with chezshelle. I haven't seen the posts for a while.I wish you had given more details. When you do something you love, for an event you love, inspired by somebody you love, gives us the details. I can't see much from you photo. A really good description would be awesome.
The most beautiful fabric creation I've seen in awhile (and that's saying something). The fabric pattern, the inset, the design overall - perfect! It's so elegant and lovely. Kudos to you! You've done some amazing work! Thanks for sharing it with us :D
simple style but elegant ..the cloth too is fab!
Well done MCarolina!! Both your work and your riposte to chezschelle. I love sewing and I simply adore couture sewing. I have been doing a few things for my daughter-in-law which I hope to post soon. *Still waiting for my son to send more photos* *sigh*
I really appreciate the skill you show in your work. I would have liked to see a bigger photo to appreciate your materials, but I suspect that has more to do with the site than your actual photos.
As for people who seem to need to correct people in the name of demolishing "political correctness". Please learn to spell and use grammar before you tear into someone!
For those who wish to explore this new web terrorism: excellent reads are "I Brain" and "Choosing Civility". No I don't have any real or implied interest in advocating these books other than my weariness with rudeness. Enough said.
Again MCarolina, you make my heart happy with your skill. This is exceptional work and it is apparent to every eye that beholds it.
Terrific!!! I love it!!
This is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!!!
Would love for you to post picture of you in your beautiful gown.
Congratulations
Really a lovely, simple and elegant, classy.....I really love it!!! your work is impecable, and even do I do not have a close up picture, it shows how clean the finishes are. Bravo!!!
GORGEOUS! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. YOU DID A FABULOUS JOB.
