Wow, I have been quilting for the past five years, making curtains, pillows and such. But this weekend my neighbor, Jane and I made a dress. I wasn’t happy with the sleeves and worried that I looked like a very large moose. We went to a luncheon where Laretta Hannon spoke. She wrote “The Cracker Queen” and Southern Living deemed her the funniest lady in GA. Well Lauretta autographed my book and titled it to “to the lady with the beautiful dress.” She said that my dress didn’t look like it came off a manufacturing line. It was different and she really liked it. I am going to get another pattern and make pants this time.
