Using Vogue Pattern # V8346 view B, I used upholstery fabric (a tip from a previous Threads issue). The design of the fabric is reminiscent of traditional Ojibwe floral beadwork designs and when I saw the light beige background I knew right away what the final garment would be. Instead of making the buttonholes as the pattern suggests, I used covered snaps to keep the continuity of the design.

Very cute! Especially fun to remind us that spring will come again someday.
Very nice job on the covered snaps. I really like your coat.
I think you really have something there! I love it. Is it lined or unlined.
Beautiful work. You could wear it as a dress too!
That was a bold choice of fabrics, that worked out very nicely. I love it.
Hello ExclusiveHerb, yes it is lined, first posting & I forgot that detail. :) and Thank you Louisa.
Gosh this is so cute! The upholstry fabric choice was really excellent! It reminds me of like anthropologie (the store). Really turned out well!
