Piere Cardin vintage kimono fabric shirt

Inspired by the fabric! Kimono fabric is only 14 inches wide. This piece came from a Japanese friend who traded for hats I make. I knew the only way I was going to have a Piere Cardin ‘original’ was to make it myself. The shoulder of the sleeve is open, also inspired by kimono garments I have seen and, I had to squeeze the fabric to finish! French seams solved the width problem. This blouse features a hidded button placket, six split bottom seams and contrasting facing.
