I made this costume of a light weight taffeta with a lace overlay. After constructing the dress I added embellishments with the scraps of fabric.

    I love the costume! I'm into Renaissance festivals and just made my first gown. This one is beautiful. Did you have any fitting or pattern challenges?

    I have been making costumes for my daughter for years. She has an ideal figure and things look naturally good on her,but I usually have to take in the waist and let out the chest. Poor Girl!
