My 2019 Halloween Slinky Dog costume.

I scrambled to figure out how to do the wire part of the costume body.  The corset frame choice was a new and fun sewing project. I used Rigilene boning, power net fabric (not recommended – too stretchy) and incorporated a 7 in side lapped zipper to make getting dressed easier.

Fabrics – stretch corduroy, micro suede, felt, & powernet.

Notions –  7″ #3 separating zipper, 5/8″ grosgrain ribbon, 5/8″ hem tape, 1/4″ rigilene boning,  1/4″ & 1/2″ elastics, 5/8″ foam backer rod (hardware store).
