Skirt Repair

I was commisioned to repair a hole in this skirt caused by a too hot iron. I saw this technique in Sew Stylish magazine and thought it would be a perfect camoflauge. I basted a zigzag stitch on a bias strip of silk organza, ruffled the strip and ironed it flat, then hand stitched to the skirt.  The hole is about hip level but I thought if I just covered that spot it would look like I was trying to cover something. So I decided to add the strip from top to bottom.
