Front View - Dress With Jacket
My 3-piece holiday ensemble consists of a blue spandex textured cocktail dress and jacket with a silver fringed handbag. The dress and jacket are fully lined. To avoid darting the dress for shaping, the contoured shaping of the dress was acheived by condensing the textured areas by pick-stitching the outer fabric to a boned corset inner layer. The fullness of the edges turned under for hemming are tamed with lead-weighted cording. The purse is lined also and features strung-bead handles and magnet closure.
