Experimental Design
December 23rd, 2008 in design, embellishments, fitting, reader's closetThis is a design I came up with for an experimental design class I was taking. I was inspired by the Rococo period and the very over the top garments created during an era when they didn't have nearly the tools we do now. I was also inspired to use a new product I was introduced to over the summer called Fantasy Film. Very interesting stuff in that you can iron it, wash it, sew it, melt it.... you name it. Fun stuff!

Maybe not enough was said about this "film' material. Maybe it is some magic thing that is so hard to work with why it is posted on threads... It all looks so simple to me that I really wonder....Where do you find this "film" so I can give it a try? Posted: 11:45 am on May 20th
Keep up the creativity!!!!

I love that you made this as bridal attire. I can see how it would be lovely on a bridesmaid. I was going more for cocktail, special occasion myself.
