This is my updated version of the hobo bag with a snap closure. It's a great evening bag and perfect for the woman that needs to carry more than just a lipstick and cell phone. The bag is made of metalic moleskin and satin lining. I recycled an old chain belt for the shoulder strap and the ruffle is handsewn.

sewingpurses writes: Thanks KGCouture and Kinney for your nice comments. I found a bunch of metallic moleskin remnants in a fabric store in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The street is Belmont Avenue there are tons of fabric stores there so I can't remember exactly which one. Posted: 4:06 pm on December 30th
