Angela Wolf has just launched her 2014 Wardrobe challenge. Made up of 12 separate monthlong contests that together span this year, AND an additional giant yearlong competition with spectacular prizes, the opportunities to win has never been greater.
Angela writes, “The inspiration for this challenge came when I changed my closets over from summer to fall. I stepped back to admire the organized closet and realized I had made almost every outfit! Wearing all my own designs has been a desire of mine from the time I started my custom apparel business in 1994, yet time has a tendency to hinder any quick results. I blogged about my excitement with my closet of home-sewn garments and received an instant response from many readers. It turns out, many of you have this same goal of sewing all your own clothes, yet again time seems to be the crutch in achieving this goal. Thus the idea of the wardrobe challenge came about.”
The grand prize at the end of the year features a Brother PQ1500S sewing machine, a Threads archive DVD, a one-year Threads subscription, three Threads books, a $200 WAWAK Sewing gift card, It’s Sew Easy Vols. 1 to 6, and Angela Wolf’s digital pattern and online class. The January challenge, “Get Inspired to Sew,” is in progress and has an impressive lineup of prizes, including a one-year Threads Insider membership, a $50 WAWAK Sewing gift card, copies of the DVD 1 Pattern, Many Ways Vol. 1 and It’s Sew Easy Season 5, and an invitation to Angela’s sewing class.
