MISSES’ & PLUS SIZE TUNIC
This light and airy tunic from Simplicity pattern 1461 can be made in many fun colors to brighten your wardrobe. The top can be constructed with three-quarter length or short sleeves and has neckline and trim variations. You can obtain the perfect fit by using separate pattern pieces for cup sizes B, C, and D (in misses’ sizes) and C, D, and DD (in women’s sizes).
Suggested fabrics are batiks, batiste, challis, cotton lawn, satin, crepe de chine, gauze, georgette, linens or silks. Six 1/3-inch buttons are needed for view F.
MISSES’ 1950’S VINTAGE PEPLUM TUNIC & BLOUSE
Trend a blast from the past with this 1950s styled peplum top in a tunic or blouse length from Simplicity pattern 1460. The tunic has options for a high neckline, contrast mandarin collar and cuffs, or a round collar. The blouse top has a scalloped neckline.
Suggested fabrics for this pattern are lightweight to medium woven fabrics such as cotton and linens, brocade, crepe, lace, sateen, or satin. Notions needed for view A are four 5/8-inch buttons. View B requires nine 5/8-inch buttons, and view C requires three 5/8-inch buttons and two small snaps.
MISSES’ KNIT TOPS
Lounge around the house in comfort and style with Simplicity pattern 1463. There are several neckline and sleeve variations to mix and match. With this one pattern, you can create an entire wardrobe of knit tops.
Suggested fabrics are interlock, jersey, two-way stretch, spandex blends, or stretch lace. One package of 24 studs is required for view D.
MISSES’ & PLUS SIZE AMAZING FIT DRESS
Make yourself the perfect fitting dress with Simpilicty pattern 1458. This pattern is an amazing fit a-line dress with princess seams. It includes individual pattern pieces for slim, average, and curvy figures and B, C, D, and DD cup sizes. The dress has an invisible back zipper.
Suggested fabrics for this dress are lightweight to meduim weight fabrics such as cottons, wool, linen, brocade, crepe, satin, lightweight denim, or satin. Notions needed are a 22-inch invisible zipper, 1/2-inch-wide piping (three packages for sizes 10 to 18 or four packages for sizes 20W to 28W).
MISSES’ SLIM SKIRT
Dress up your day with this skirt from Simplicity pattern 1465. The pattern offers six different variations: a to-the-knee pencil skirt with lace overlay, a skirt with an asymmetric peplum with a drape in two lengths, a skirt with an asymmetric peplum that ties at the side, an above-the-knee skirt with a sheer overlay, and a classic pencil skirt.
Suggested fabrics are lightweight to medium woven fabrics such as batiks, brocade, denim, linen, sateen, or taffeta. One 7-inch invisible zipper is required.
