Hi everyone out in cyber sewing world. I have been sewing custom bridal and evening wear for many years. My family is growing and becoming more self sufficient. I have more time now and I am developing a small collestion of couture bridal and evening wear I would like to sell. I am very good at sewing and designing. I have several original ideas for gowns and dresses. My problem is I don’t know anything about how to get them out there in the shops. I only want 2 or 3 very fine shops. I have some ideas of where to go. I don’t know what to say when I get there. Should I call or just show up? What are the dos and don’ts? Is there a certain time of year the shops buy? I am afraid my ignorance in this matter will cause me to fail even though I am very talented. Any info. or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
