I made the shirt and pants and embroidered a Chinook on the shirt for my little grandson in Texas. We just returned from a 2 day visit with them. The shirt was a hit…….now Dad wants a shirt with a Chinook, too! He is Army and the Chinook’s are his job………keeping them in tip-top shape.
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season………I’ve been away for nearly a week……I have some catching up to do!
Happy Stitching!

Oh, he is so adorable! Love his little outfit, he looks very happy and proud.
The young man visiting us from Washington state works on helicopters too. He was just in Calif. because of the fires there. Is that design from emblibrary? He would love it, he was in the Air Force until recently.
Happy New Year! Mary
Hi Mary.......yes, it is an Emb. Library design. Just enter 'chinook' in the search box and you should find it.
Yes, PJ was happy and proud.......he had Dad's hat and dog tags on to complete the 'uniform'!! ha
Happy New Year!!

Very cute. So that's what a Chinook is. He does look very proud of it.
Yep, that is a Chinook. I got to see one 'up close and personal' this trip. We visited the museum at Ft. Hood and we also got to see where our sil works.
Aw, that's so cute. Makes me wish for an embroidery machine!
Love it Kay...although I do know what a Chinook is I actually had a friend (female pilot) that flew those HelisSo here is your laugh....I thought when you mentioned Chinook that it was a fish!! So I smiled when I saw the pics!!Wonderful PJ uniform!!
Thanks for sharing
Really cute outfit & he DOES look proud to have it! I laughed when I read Blondie's post, as I, too, thought the Chinook was the Chinook salmon :) Now we know what that 'copter looks like & your embroidery is excellent!
Gloria
Thanks for your kind words. I didn't think about the salmon when I first wrote about it. I had a chuckle, too........kind of funny where our minds take us at times!! I am very talented in that area.............creative hearing and thinking!! ha
Yes, PJ likes his shirt and the design stitched out without a hitch. At least when I do a design on a garment that I'm making, I do the embroidery prior to construction. That way, it's easier to hoop and if I should hit a snag and the machine/operator makes a goof, at least I can just cut out a new front and do it over! I've not had to do that but it's comforting to know the possibility is there.
Happy Stitching!

I laughed at your "creative hearing & thinking" - I think I have that malady, too :)

These are wonderful. Isn't it nice when you know specifically what will make a great gift for a loved on? solo
Thanks for your kind words. I do not have the creative talent that you do but I do have fun and thanks to a wonderful embroidery machine and designs, I can make gifts that are special and 'one of a kind'.
BTW........I do love your bags! Wow! They are just beautiful........and your smocking makes me drool! :-)
Happy Sititching!
