Elastic Thread

xyz123 | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

Does anyone have a good source for fine elastic thread like you see in some of the ready made garments.  It’s used primarily to give texture and design to the fabric.

Thanks,

Linda

Interesting website but no that's not what I'm looking for.  It's a very fine elastic thread that is put in the bobbin and gathers up the fabic as you sew.  It is much finer than what I have been able to find in the local fabric stores.

I've used this one too, and it works great.   Good suggestion.

You can also get the Gutterman elastic thread at most Joann's stores.

Thanks, I appreciate the response but I've called two in my area and they say they don't carry it!  I did manage to find it at a great store in Minneapolis on my latst trip there!
