I am putting a list together for my ASG group of all those little gem fabric sources and co-ops. I am focusing on garment fabric rather than quilting. Please send me any link you may have. Once the list is compiled, I will be happy to share it with anyone who would like it. I am also interested in any fabric stores in the NY or other large cities you can recommend.
Thank you

kuecker3: What a wonderful idea. Are you going to be including a category on mail order? I would absolutely love to have your completed list. I am sure if you post it on Threads Gathering that many will snap it up. Thanks Scrubble4
I am not opposed to mail order sources. I am pretty open to anything. Like so many areas, the fashion fabric stores are few and far between here. I didn't really start this just to find cheap sources, that is just a bonus.
I go to so many meetings where people mention - oh I found this at such and so site, but you never heard of it before.
I am also not looking to eliminate the well know sources, like vogue fabrics. I just want to try an docme up with fairly complete list.
That seems like a lot of work, when you can look most of them up on http://www.patternreview.com.
http://www.equilter.com has beautiful rayon batiks that I have been very happy with. You need to go to the search box and type in "rayon" or "silk" as the dropdown list is more for quilting fabrics.
