Hi,
Does anyone know of a website that has good illustrations on how to make a front placket. I’m in the middle of constructing an old fashioned prairie dress for a client that brought pattern pieces (used a hundred times!) with no instructions. I’m having a mental gap regarding the placket! It’s been too long since I’ve made one.
It’s the kind with two separate rectangular pieces that have to overlap at the bottom…Thanks!

I don't know of a website that would show directions for the front placket but the Vogue Sewing Book has a diagram. Shirtmaking by David Coffin has several diagrams showing placket fronts. Good luck.
