   Welcome, Sweetpea! You will love it here and learn so much. You will get lots of encouragement and inspiration too. What's type of clothing do you do mostly? Work clothes, casual, childrens?

   I have been sewing for many years! I have made a lot of my own clothes, then had children so I mainly made costumes and did repairs. I did some quilting, as I joined 2 quilt guilds. Then came a new house with too many windows so I made roman blinds.
   Today I would like to start a new wardrobe for myself. I have been reading the November issue of 'threads' and think I need to explore the stores for fashions I like. I would like to try to copy some patterns to make them my own design. This would be a new step for me!

   Hi Sweetpea2, I have a cousin we call Sweetpea.  She hates me to introduce her with that name, she wants to be introduced by her given, but since she was born, that was her given to the family (giggle). 

   Welcome, I have about three weeks or so on you at being new, and I have found craft companionship, instruction, opinion and it's been wonderful and very helpful.  I so lots of things at any given time, I'm knitting right now.  But I will have to get some sewing done soon in quilting.  But, this is the place to find people to help you and just talk to.  Enjoy.
