How do i chain stitch with a needle

VoniSt | Posted in Knitting and Crochet on

I have a pattern for a kitchen towel topper to crochet.  It says to use 3 strands of embroidery thread and a sewing needle to do 63 chain stitches along the center fold of the towel.   I know how to chain with a crochet hook or with a serger. I’ve sewn for 4o yrs and crochet for 10.

Please Help

Thank you

Here is a instructional video on YouTube that is very good, since I'm a visual learner.
