I love to look at the details of clothing; everything from style to construction, in every possible era. This is one of my favorite sites for inspiration. All of the clothing shown is for sale…or already sold; but the range is incredible… museum quality pieces from the 1700’s (men’s and children’s, too) through current designer fashion that have been worn by such as Liza Minelli and Whitney Houston. Hats, shoes, jewelry, furs,…ranging in price from under $20 to $35K for the Bob Mackie gown Cher wore at the 1983 Oscars.
(The site owner does extended layaway if you’re interested đ )
The pictures are clear and if you click on the image, it links to detailed pix of that garment. There is a lot of info as well, if the provinance is available.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Wow--what a site! It's gonna take awhile to get through all of it.
One hour later: I made it through the wedding gowns. Will have to continue at another time.
This is a must-see site!

LOL I know exactly what you mean!! I posted the site and had a window open with it on my computer. I went back to it after I posted.....4 hrs. later I realized what time it was and had to stop looking to go to bed.
DH wants me to go running around with him for a while today. I'll be back at that site tonight. I've seen many of the garments before, but they sure bear looking at many times. I LOVE that she puts so many views up of each garment; although her descriptions/commentary can be a little 'loud.' I sometimes 'copy & paste' the pix into a Word program and save on my computer for future reference.
Its a great site for inspiration and study. So glad you are enjoying it!

Here's another "OMG" site for reference or purchase:

Not sure if it was actually *mentioned* in another thread, or if I found it on one of those "follow a link to another link" wanderings. I know I now have several Word docs with pics "for reference"! (grin)
Happy Saturday, y'all!

That is a terrific site! As you note, a body can sure spend a LOT of time looking at those photos.
